The astronaught then rushed over to the communication consol to make contact before the other ship got out of range. "Identify yourselves unknown craft, who are you and where do you come from?" There was silence for about 30 seconds before a response came over the speaker.
"The names are John Smith and Joe Bloggs, and we come in peace!, please now identify yourselves” . To this the original 2 men were absolutely horrified. “That’s us!, what is going on here?” exclaimed one man. I have absolutely no idea said the other but I am going to find out. He continued with his questions before answering theirs. “How long have you been out here? Again another silences “As far as we are aware, approximately 3 hours, please identify yourselves now!”
“Your going to find this a little strange but our names are also John Smith and Joe Bloggs, it looks as though we are talking to ourselves in the future, isn’t this strange”
“Yeah real weird, but how could this have happened? And what do we do about it now?”
“I don’t know but we are running out of gas fast so we need to get back to earth”
“Ok, follow us we will escort you home” replied the first ship
When the finally got back to earth they all went for a beer together and found out that they had so much in common! Friends questioned them when they were together later on in life and they simply explained to them “we are long lost brothers! Twins in fact”
